Busy Summer

We have definitely stayed busy this Summer. Between boating trips, Camping trips, Lagoon, the Zoo, the swimming pool etc we have really had a blast! Here is just a picture for you to look at (we just had fam pics done) ... Its going to take me a bit to get all my pictures organized from our busy summer.. I am hoping sometime this week I will get all of them up.

Arent these kids just the cutest... Conner is such a good BIG Brother. He is getting to the point where he is more of a help then a hinder now and I just love watching him with Parker.

He will run up to him when he is crying and give him a big kiss on his head and say "its ok Parkie!"
Some of the cute things he does- Whenever someone comes over to visit and wants to hold Parker he will tell them they need to put santa-tizer on. He is very protective of his little brother and when other kids are around he will make it VERY clear that Parker is HIS brother..
He will always let me know when I need to feed Parker, and runs to get diapers when he needs to be changed. He will also throw all the dirty ones away for me. He loves to help with everything and it is so nice to have a little helper around the house..

It is so much fun to watch the interaction between these two. Parker will give Conner the biggest smiles and it is Priceless to watch. I am so glad they are close together and will grow up being best friends.. I am enjoying being a mom of 2 more and more. Being a mom is one of the most special things to expirience and I wouldnt trade it for anything. It definetly has its moments when you dont think you will make it through the day, but you always do and it is soooo worth it.. I love my little family more then anything in this world!!

I think Paker was over all the kisses for a little while... :)

AJ's Birthday was the 26th of February. I planned a suprise birthday party for him. My parents took the boys for the night so we could have some time together.

This is the awesome Jazz cake me and my sister spent 5 hours making for him.. It was alot of fun, but so much work. we layered the cake by all the Jazz colors. It was awesome.

It was soo much fun to have a night away from the kids. Im missed them so much but AJ and I had a really good time with friends and not having to worry about the kids..

Busy Mama

This is Parkers one month picture with the bear.. I did this with conner and it is so fun to look back at pictures and see how much they have grown. Parker is such a fun baby and I am enjoying every minute of him.. I has been a rough couple weeks. We found out Parker has a reaction to dairy products so I am currently on a non-dairy diet. can I just tell you that it is one of the hardest things I have done. You dont realize that EVERYTHING has some kind of dairy product in it. It has made my shopping trips twice as long because I have to read EVERY label so see whats in it....I can say though that it is totally worth having a happy baby then a gassy, fussy baby with rashes... I would do anything for my kids.. on the upside of it, I am dropping the LBS!!! Wahoo for me!
These little boys have kept me one busy mama... it is so much fun though and I wouldnt trade it for anything. I go back to work in 2 weeks and I have been soaking up all the loves and snuggles I get throughout the day. I am really dreading going back to work. It is the hardest thing trusting someone else to love your kids as much as you do. Hopefully soon I will get to be a stay at home mom. My boys definetly mean the world to me and I would much rather live on less and get by without the shopping trips and salon apts and be able to stay home with my boys.. I just cant believe it has already been almost 10 weeks since I had my little Parkie.. Time definetly goes by way too fast.

Here is conner helping mommy make brownies. He loves doing things with just mommy. he likes the one on one attention that he doesnt always get anymore. I love when me and conner can just hang out and play while brother is asleep.

Its so funny how you dont realize how much your kid has grown up until you have another one and see a picture like this. The size diffrence amazes me. I just cant believe Conner is a little boy now. Hes not my little baby conner anymore. He loves his baby Parkie so much. It is so much fun being a mom of boys. I just love it so much.....

This is the boys on Valentines day while daddy was out flying.
Conner is so good with Parker and every time he holds him he says "Cheeeeese mom, take a picture" he is always there to throw away diapers and run and get mommy wipes and diapers. he is such a good helper and loves when mommy gives him money for his piggy bank when he does good things. I wouldnt trade my life for anything.. AJ and I are loving our little boys.. they are so much fun!!! hopefully it wont take me as long to post again. we will see though.. :)

Birth story-

We had a planned C section for the 12th of January. I was a little bummed it couldnt be the 11th since I thought it would be cool for a 1/11/11 birthday, but they were already over scheduled for that day. Im not going to lie, it was really weird knowing what day would be my babies birthday.

AJ and I arrived to the hospital at 8am on the morning of the 12. They got us in our room and got me hooked up to all the monitors. I was really anxious as I always get. They told us they were running a little late with the C section before me so it would be a little longer. All the nurses thought it was so cool that we didnt know what we were having. I was almost guaranteed it was a girl and I let everyone know that. Things were moving along and it was time to go to the OR. The plan was to have my cerclauge taken out after my spinal tap so that I would be numb and not feel it this time. which was ok with me!!! They got my spinal tap done and almost instantly I was numb. It took them forever to get my cerclauge out and finally they started the c section. I was so anxious to see what this little baby was going to be. It felt like forever until they said, "we see the baby, little blondie" All the sudden I heard crying and AJ looked down at me and told me it was a boy. Then all the doctors yelled out "its a boy" I was so shocked, but so happy that I had another little baby boy.. AJ went over with the nurses to get him all cleaned up. I couldnt believe how small he was. when the said how much he weighed I was so nervous that he would have to go to the NICU. The NICU nurses did a full exam on him and said he looked amazing. It was such a relief to know he was fine and didnt need to go there. That was my worry the whole time. AJ finally brought him over to me all wrapped up and I just couldnt help but just tear up and smile. I couldnt stop smiling. He was perfect in every way and I was so happy he made it here healthy and perfect. After they got me all sewed up we were taken to the recovery room. My
Parents showed up soon after with Conner. He was asleep in the stroller. We were finally taken to our room we would be staying in. Conner finally woke up and looked over at me and saw the baby. He instantly got up and came over. AJ lifted him up to see his new baby brother. I think he instally loved him. Whenever anybody wanted to hold him he would say "My Parker" it was so cute. I love my little family and am so happy to see what the future holds for us.

Parker is now a month old and I cant believe how much longer he is staying awake. He is starting to smile more and is just such a fun baby. Conner loves to help with his little baby brother (most days) I love my boys...

What a Stud.. I just had to post this picture really quick because he is the cutest kid ever. I still cant believe he is a 2 year old now. Feels like just yesterday I was bringing him home from the hospital. It amazes me how quick they grow up and how many new things they learn every day. We love Conner so much and he is such an amazing little boy. I couldn't imagine my life without him in it.

-Have been getting Ready for baby #2 to arrive in about a month
-Celebrated McKenna's 4th Birthday
-Family Christmas Parties
-Lots of Christmas Shopping

I really am hoping I will soon be able to put pictures up of all this because I have dang cute pictures.. We have been so busy this holiday season and I still have a few presents to buy and it is the day before Christmas Eve.. I made a goal not to do this to myself but looks like I did. We have really been blessed this year and I am so grateful to have such a wonderful family.
I couldn't imagine life without them!!!

4 Years

OK .. I know this isn't the best Picture, but its the only one on this computer that I have..
It Has been 4 years since I married my best friend!!! I cant believe how far we've come and what amazing moments we have shared together. I am so grateful for such a loving husband in my life who is so supportive of anything I do. He is such a good daddy and is an amazing example to our little boy. I'm so happy with life right now and am excited for what the future holds.. I love you sweetie!!!!

Lots to Blog about.. Our summer has been filled with so much fun and excitement!!!
To start the summer off, June 5th My little brother came home from his mission. He served in the Mexico, Leon mission and we were all soo excited for him to come home.. Its hard when your only brother is gone.. He had 5 sisters to come home to, and and niece and nephew that were born while he was out..

We played lots this summer.. We had lots of cousin time!!! The kids love getting together and playing with their cousins... (most of the time)

Conner getting his exercising in!!!!! he is so funny and learns so many new things a day.. Still amazes me at what little kids pick up.. He watches mommy and nanna do this a lot..
He is already a pro at it!!!

Story time... Conner has been soooo obsessed with books lately..
He could just sit and look at them for hours.. He just jibber jabbers his own words to the stories.. It is so Cute..

Eating snacks... Conner looks so big in this picture.. I cant believe this little guy will be 2 in less then 2 weeks... I cant believe the time has gone by so fast. I swear just yesterday he was in preemie diapers and so tiny!!!

Conner has gotten a lot of playing time in with Uncle Jason.. Conner says his name so cute, and is always sooooo excited when Jason is over nanna's house:)

Every time my sister Karen and her son Brody come up, we usually make something.. This time we made Sugar cookies.. The boys were so cute on wanting to help with everything.. Brody loves to help put all the ingredients in and loves to stir. Conner is still getting the hang of stirring.. They especially love to taste to make sure its good.

While my sister was up, she watched Conner on Friday while I was at work. My dad and sisters took the boys to the Copper mine.. they had a lot of fun!!

I wasn't feeling well that day and AJ had to work! My parents are so sweet for taking him to Lagoon for a few hours.

Well to start off.. I know I have fallen out of the blogging world for a while but my goal is to post something weekly.. (we will see how that goes) we have been so busy this summer and I love it. My plan for the weekend is to post all about our summer activities. I wish I had time now but I don't. Only a 15 min break at work. Grandma Whittle's 80th

My Grandma Whittle turned 80 on the 17th of May. My dad thought it would be fun to throw a surprise birthday party for her. She lives in Ferron, UT, which is about 2 1/2 hours from SL. We all met a a big park and had a huge barbecue. My Aunt lives with her and told her she was taking her to lunch. Instead she drove my grandma to the park. She was so surprised to see all of us there with all the decorations for her birthday. It was alot of fun and my Grandma was so grateful. I cant believe my grandma is 80! she has the energy of a 60 year old and you would never think she was 80!!! I love my grandma so much, and it was so fun to see her!!!

Conner is a little climber.. he climbs on EVERYTHING! I feel like
I cant take my eyes off this kid for a second without his getting into something or climbing on something. The other day when he was home with daddy, he climbed on the kitchen table. he thinks he is pretty clever when he does this.. He will think it is pretty clever until he takes a fall and cracks his head.. :)

Conner is OBSESSED with walks. whenever he is crying or in a bad mood, if you put Conner in the stroller he will calm right down. He loves walks and LOVES to be outside. He would live outside if I let him. We have tried making this a daily thing now that is is starting to get a little warmer. Although you think since it is MAY it would be a lot nicer, but we still have to take it day by day.. We Love our walks

Conners Uncle Brian

This is Conner's Uncle Brian. When Conner was born, Brian was serving a mission in Ft. Lauderdale. Brian got home in January so I know this post is a little late but Conner just adores his Uncle Brian. Brian is SO good with kids and is a little kid at heart:)

Brian was over the other day and Conner loves story's. He just kept bringing books over for Brian to read to him. This picture is so cute to me. I love Brian so much and am so glad he is home now:)

This is typical Brian. TOTAL KID AT HEART!! Man I love these boys!!!

I am so glad we are so close with Brian. We love when he comes over and spends time with us. I look up to him so much and he is such a good example to us.

I have been looking back on the 16 months that Conner has been with us , and have been amazed at how fast time has gone. Some things Conner can do is
-go up AND down the stairs
-any time music comes on (even someones phone ringing) he busts out his moves
-can open out doors at home (which I am so not happy about)
-words he says are mommy, daddy, puppy, baby, papa, nana, Ba (for bath), didi (for Sadie), Abby(papa and nana's dog), ba (for ball), No, Yeah.
there are definitely more, they are just not coming to mind.
-He loves to color
-Loves to help mommy clean- sweeps, vacuums and dusts
-He likes to pull all of the Tupperware out of the drawer
-he clicks he tongue all the time.
-Gives fish kisses
The list goes on and on but I need to get this kid to bed:)
I love my Conner bug and am so happy to have him.

Lately Conner has had this OBSESSION for Baths. He LOVES them and just walks around the house saying"BA" non-stop. Every time we start the tub he squeals with excitement! It is the cutest thing.. This is a picture of him right after he sucked the soapy water out of the wash cloth:)
Yet again. he never listens to me when I say "No No , Yucky.."

We just had Family pictures done and I LOVE THEM!!! they turned out so great. How cool is this picture. AJ was so excited to see that they had a Bird house here.
Conner was so cold but he was so stinkin' cute.. He LOVED wheeler farm. All the animals were making noise and he would just look around and laugh. It was so cute.
This little Boy is getting so BIG and it makes so sad.. I swear he was just a baby yesterday. AND NOW he is all over the place and into everything.

McKenna's 3rd Birthday

For McKenna's birthday we stopped off at the store to get her some balloons and a little teddy bear. On the way over Conner loved playing with the balloons.

I can't believe it has already been 3 years since this little angel was born. We miss he so much and love her unconditionally. It is hard for me as she gets older . I find myself always thinking what she would be doing right now. If she would be a little girly girl. and love princesses and the color pink. I can't wait til the day I can see my little baby girl.

Oh Christmas Tree

AJ and I made it a tradition that we would have a tree that we would set up every Christmas for McKenna. It is our "Angel" tree.. Well this year I decided I would let Conner help me. WOW.. can I say what a chore to put up such a small tree. It was alot of fun though and he LOVED it. he was so cute. and I would point at it and say sissy.. and he would point at it and say "sissy" It is so cute
it almost brings me to tears he can do that this early. He looks at pictures of her and knows who it is.

Conner I think undecorated the tree faster then I could decorate it. He would rip an ornament off and hand it to me pretty much as I put them on. It was so much fun though and he made me laugh

All I can say is this Christmas is going to be so hard. He wont leave that tree alone. We havent had a chance to really set Christmas up, I just wanted to set McKenna's up before her birthday. We will have to see how setting the big one up goes.

I am so excited for Christmas this year because of this little guy. He is going to be so much fun.

Conners Surgery

A few weeks ago Conner had his tonsils and adnoids out.
Ever since Conner was born , he has always been a little stuffed up even if he wasn't
sick. It took months and months of trying to figure out what was wrong. When we changed
pediatricians, (which I just LOVE his pediatrician now) she noticed that his
tonsils were rather large for his age. We kept a good eye on them until just a few months
ago when our specialist we were sent to demanded he get a sleep study.
WELL...... his sleep study results were Terrible..... so we scheduled surgery as soon
as we could.

This is Conner after surgery. He did so amazing. Especially for how
young he was. All the nurses at primary's just loved him and thought
he was the cutest thing ever. But who wouldn't!

Conner had to stay over night so they could keep and eye on his oxygen levels.
He hated the little board and wrap they had to put on him because of his
IV. There wasn't that much to do . We took him on a little wagon ride around the inside of
the hospital and he liked that. It was so funny though because our room was just a little tiny one.
it had a glass sliding door and huge window. We were right by the nurses desk, so when Conner would get bored he would walk over to the door and bang on it with his IV hand.
He loved to hit with that thing and I was SO glad when they finally took it off.
We are so glad this is over with and Conner is a different baby.. He is so much more happy
now that he can actually breath normal. He is sleeping better at night too.

The big Birthday Parties......

We celebrated conner's birthday that weekend.
Conner got sooo many toys. From little People sets to blocks.
He also got a big ball pit from my sisters.
I love the 200 balls that are scattered around my house everyday.
KayLee had a good time helping him open all his presents.

It is all worth it though . He loves all his toys.
My family came to see the football game. :)
GO BYU!!

My sister Heather is so amazing at making cakes. She makes
them for everyone's birthdays. She made Conner
this CUTE Elmo cake. It turned out so good!

And was Definitely Covered in it.

We had two birthday parties. This is the birthday party
with AJ's side of the family.

He scored with getting so many times to dig into cakes.
He definitely entertained everyone.. :)

I made a little cake for Conner so I could have Brianna take a few cute pictures of him with it. When I first put the plate down he just kinda looked at it, and then looked back up at me.
I think he was thinking "Mom, are you really gonna let me do this? "

At first he just tasted a little bit. I could tell he LOVED it!

This face is PRICELESS!!!!

He would get so excited and just keep grabbing at the frosting. He would get so much frosting on his hands that he would flip his hands to get it off. By the end , the wall was covered in frosting.

He is Conner going to Town on his cake. I think he liked the frosting better then the cake.
He was a mess. I could tell at the end though he was getting bugged by all the stickiness and frosting all over him. It Definitely was time for this little boy to take a bath!

Conner looks so cute in this one. I love how you can see his two little bottom teeth.

This one is one of my FAVORITES! I was really surprised that he kept the hat on for the pictures. He hates hats and is Always trying to get them off him.

I would stand him up, and he would just start walking towards us. We were laughing so hard.
I think he was thinking " oh they are laughing" so he just kept doing it over and over. I took him to JC Pennys too. We got some really cute ones there.

The 'L I T T L E' Things .

As you might know, the head of a company survived
9/11 because his son started kindergarten.

Another fellow was alive because it was
His turn to bring donuts.

One woman was late because her
Alarm clock didn't go off in time.

One was late because of being stuck on the NJ Turnpike
Because of an auto accident.

One of them
Missed his bus.

One spilled food on her clothes and had to take
Time to change.

One's
Car wouldn't start.

One went back to
Answer the telephone.

One had a
Child that dawdled
And didn't get ready as soon as he should have.

One couldn't
Get a taxi.

The one that struck me was the man
Who put on a new pair of shoes that morning,
Took the various means to get to work
But before he got there, he developed
a blister on his foot.

He stopped at a drugstore to buy a Band-Aid.
That is why he is alive today.

Now when I am
Stuck in traffic,
Miss an elevator,
Turn back to answer a ringing telephone...
All the little things that annoy me.
I think to myself,
This is exactly where

God wants me to be
At this very moment..

Conner has been struggling with this SAME ear infection for a few months now. It comes and goes!!! We have been on 3 different kinds of Antibiotics and Many visits to the doctors. Through all of this, Conner has been a little Trooper. He is Happy most of the time, unless he is hungry or tired. Hopefully we will be able to tackle this ear infection and keep it gone for good.......

Conner Loves his Baths. This is him a few nights ago. He loves to kick his legs in the tub and swim. he is so much fun. I love giving this kid a bath!!!

Conner's new thing is finding anything that he can get his hands on to rip up. Alot of my magazines have ripped out pages from this little boy.

Conner loves to get away from me after his bath and crawl around the house naked.. I don't know what it is about little kids being naked. but they love it.

For the 4th of July we went to IHOP for breakfast.. I love that place. Conner loved the pancakes! That evening we went over to my mom and dads house for a Barbecue and then over to Riverton Park for the Firework show.. We had so much fun being with the Family.

So on the way home from Lake Powell, we stopped at Moab and stayed there a few nights. We went to arches and also went white water rafting. It was a lot of fun!!!

So over the week of Fathers day it is a tradition on the Bird side to go to Lake Powell. This was Conner's first boating trip.. He had SO much fun. He loved the boat and loved the water if it was semi-warm:) It was so much fun to see him get so excited on the boat.

My little brother Jason is the tall one on the Right. He is serving in the Leon Mexico Mission. He will be home next January. How Exciting..
Brian is AJ's little brother. He is in the Ft. Lauderdale mission and will be home the end of January. We cant wait.

so my little brother Jason has now been serving a mission in Mexico for 1 year. I guess for their one year mark, they burn a shirt with the date and the mission written on it. He is such a STUD!! I cant believe how fast time goes by. I feel like he just left. He is doing so good and has had many baptisms. I love and miss him so much and cant wait for his to meet Conner:)

So the other day My mom and I went to the AT&T store to look for a new phone for me.
I had to take Conner because AJ was at work. As we got looking at the phone, the guy in the store started playing with Conner. He kept saying how he was such a CUTE baby and commenting on how good he was being. Conner was soo good at the store that they gave him his own brand new phone. He LOVES it. Now he can have his own little pretend phone and he doesnt have to play with mine...

We had a very enjoyable Memorial Day.. It was so nice to have the day off and spend it together.We went took Conner to the cemetery. We hadn't taken him yet and decided this would be the perfect time.

I cant believe Conner is six months. He is getting so big. As you can tell he loves to eat!! He LOVES his baby food. He prefers fruit over veggies, but after a few bites of veggies he is used to it. I love my little Chubbers......

SO I decided I should probably post something because I haven't for about a month!!!
I will just give you a little update about us. AJ got his private pilots license about a month
and a half ago. It is so much fun. I can't wait until he is finished with school and all the student loans will be paid off. Me, Nothing really new. Just still working as a travel coordinator and being a full time mommy. I love it. I cant wait until I can stay home with my little boy. They grow up so fast. Speaking of growing up fast. Conner is 5 1/2 months already. He is so much fun. He can almost sit without falling over now. Soon he will be crawling.

I Know I have been slacking on posting blogs but I dont have a lot of spare time these days.
Conner is getting so big and I can't believe he is almost 3 months. feels like just yesterday he
was born. He is so much fun and such a busy body. He is always jabbering and cooing away.
He isn't very quiet. He likes to be the center of attention and is always talking. He smiles so much now and it is the cutest thing ever. He even laughs! He is such a fun baby and we love him so much.. He is such a spoiled little baby, But who couln't spoil a baby as cute as him..

Well i thought I would tell you of the birth of our new edition to our family before I forget. I know you say you say you never will, but you do. It was Monday the 13th of October and AJ was at work. I had him drop me off that morning being we only had one car, i though i would be fine. Well I was at work and just thinking that i should go in. i kept ignoring it knowing we had a meeting with a travel agency for our new system.. I kept telling the ladies i work with that i thought i was in labor. They kept saying "Just go in" I didn't want AJ to have to come all the way back and get me because his work was right by the hospital. The travel agency was right next to the hospital as well and thats were we were headed.. My boss and best friend (whom I work with) offered to drop me off at the hospital on their way to the agency. We all hoped in the car and i can still remember thinking "I really hope this is it or I am going to look like an idiot" Also thinking "I might have my baby today" That send chills down my arms. i didn't want to get my hopes up but i was so excited.
I called AJ and told him I was on my to the hospital. He left work early and rushed up to meet me there. We checked in and got all settled in our room. The nurse came in and checked to see if I was dilated. I was only at a 1 but i was having contractions, so they thought they would just watch me for a while. We arrived at about 10:30 am and hours passed by. I was so uncomfortable and just wanted them to admit me. Finally about 5 hours later the nurse came in saying they were going to send me home. I was so upset, but almost at the same time happy because I didn't even have anything packed yet. She left to get the discharge papers. Well next thing we know, The doctor on call came in and said that since I had to have a c-section, and that i am high risk from my last pregnancy we were either going to do the c-section or inject a needle in my belly to get fluid from the lungs to see how well the baby's lung were. They both sounded scary but worth it. She left to call my doc and let him know i was in labor. She came back and told me he had worked all the night before so he was not feeling awake enough to deliver the baby. They scheduled to c-section to be for 7 pm. Wow that took forever to get here. We waited and waited. i couldn't believe i was going to get to hold my new baby.. Still not knowing what the sex was. AJ and i couldn't wait. We called everyone and told them the news.. Lots of family came up to wait for the arrival of our little baby. 7 o clock finally came and they were getting me ready for surgery.. i walked down to the surgery room and wow.. All the doctors were so excited that nobody knew what the baby was and they were so excited to be able to shout out what it was.
i didn't take long until they got to the baby. The first thing that i remember hearing was "I see hair!" All the sudden the doctor shouted out "ITS A BOY" I looked up at AJ with just the biggest smile ever. I was so happy and I couldn't wait to see him. He weighed 6 lbs 9 oz and 20 inches long. Boy did he have a set of lungs.. AJ brought him over to me and wow he was beautiful. i just stared at him thinking how amazing life was. They got me all stitched up and handed me Conner. So many feeling ran through my body the first time i held my little baby boy. They wheeled me into recovery with him and AJ.. All the family came in and it was so fun telling them all that is was a boy.. Was such a great day and so many beautiful memories and feelings i will never forget.
